My career in photography came quite unexpectedly as it was never a field of study for me, but rather a door that continually opened. My first experience with a camera was while working as an underwater videographer in the Cayman Islands where I had amazing opportunities to photograph an array of sea life and where I realized that photography as a career was even possible. Life took me back to the US where I began to study Interior Design. Unbeknownst to me, a friend put me forward for a position as a photographer at one of South Florida’s community news organizations where I photographed everything from politics to covers for lifestyle and parenting magazines. People, Places and Things! I covered it all. Currently my focus is to bring the beauty of nature into spaces, creating thoughtful and peaceful surroundings where people live and gather. My work reflects my love of the ocean and my passion for beautiful botanicals and charming southern locations.
